Al-Nasser Approaches Victory and a Dual Battle for Al-Sululi
Friday 29-08-2025
Al-Awn Al-Sululi, defender of Al-Taawoun, and Saad Al-Nasser, the left-back, will miss the match against Al-Nassr on Friday as part of the opening of the Roshen League, in preparation for their transfer to new clubs.

Press sources confirmed that Saad Al-Nasser is close to transferring to Al-Nassr after an agreement between the two clubs' management, while Al-Ahli and Neom are competing to sign Al-Sululi during the summer transfer window.

Brazilian coach Briklis Shamuska revealed in a press conference on Thursday that Al-Nasser would be absent from the match against Al-Nassr, confirming that he is in the final stages of negotiations with another club.

The contracts of Al-Nasser and Al-Sululi with Al-Taawoun expire in June 2026, with only one season remaining before they officially become free agents in the upcoming transfers.

Reports indicated a financial dispute between Al-Taawoun and Al-Nassr regarding the payment method for Al-Nasser's transfer fee, but negotiations are still ongoing to finalize the deal soon.

It is expected that Al-Taawoun will receive 40 million riyals for the sale of the left-back's contract, while the player has arrived in Riyadh to follow up on the procedures for his transfer after three seasons spent with Al-Sukkari.
