Al-Najma Signs Iraqi Player Ali Jasem
Thursday 28-08-2025
The management of Al-Najma Club has reached an official agreement with Iraqi player Ali Jasem to join the first football team starting from the new season, according to a source for "Al-Riyadiya".

The source clarified that Jasem, who is 21 years old and plays as a left winger, will undergo medical examinations before signing the final contracts and officially completing the deal in the coming days.

Jasem is currently experiencing his time with Como FC in Italy, where he was promoted from the under-19 youth team and has participated with the first team in only two matches since the beginning of the current season.

The player previously made a notable appearance with Al-Qwa Al-Jawiya in the 2023 AFC Champions League, where he played five matches, scoring four goals and providing one assist, which enhanced his market value in the transfer window.

If the deal is completed, Ali Jasem will be the seventh signing for Al-Najma this summer after the additions of Slovenian David Tijanic, Honduran Rommel Quioto, and compatriot Dibi Flores, in addition to Brazilian Samir Caetano de Souza, French Bilal Boutobba, Moroccan Jawad Yamiq, along with ten local signings to strengthen the recently promoted team.
