Elche Club de Fútbol announced on its official website that it has reached an agreement with FC Barcelona to acquire goalkeeper Iñaki Peña on loan until the end of the current season 2025/2026.
Iñaki Peña, born in the city of Alicante on March 2, 1999, began his career at the Villarreal Academy before moving to La Masia Academy, where he excelled as one of the top goalkeepers of his generation, winning the UEFA Youth Champions League title with the youth team in 2018.
The Spanish goalkeeper has gained experience in major competitions, having participated with Barcelona's first team in La Liga matches, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League.
