A Spanish media report indicated that Brazilian star Casemiro, midfielder for Manchester United, has rejected an official offer from a Saudi club to join during the current transfer window.

The newspaper clarified that the Manchester United player may agree to move to the Saudi league next season, after the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup, as he prefers to postpone the decision for now.

Earlier reports had suggested that Frenchman Karim Benzema, captain of Al-Ittihad, recommended his club's management to sign Casemiro as part of a plan to strengthen the midfield with experienced names.

It is worth mentioning that Brazilian national team coach Carlo Ancelotti has called up Casemiro for the upcoming international break, and he is expected to be included in the Seleção's squad for the World Cup next summer.
