According to Al-Riyadh newspaper, Al-Ahli club players will not be able to travel with the Saudi national team on the scheduled flight next Sunday due to scheduling conflicts with the team's local commitments.

The crisis arose due to Al-Ahli's participation in the King Abdulaziz Cup, which necessitated the players to stay with the team until they compete in the official match scheduled in the tournament.

The newspaper clarified that this conflict has put Al-Ahli in a predicament of match pressure, as their players will have to play the cup match before joining the national team's camp directly.

Despite their absence from the main flight, the coaching staff of the national team is awaiting the arrival of Al-Ahli players to the squad as soon as they finish their local football commitments.

The Saudi national team hopes that the delay in the arrival of Al-Ahli players will not affect the preparation program, especially since the upcoming period includes crucial matches on both continental and international levels.
