Union Allocates 70 Million Euros to Sign Mora Amid Internal Disputes
Tuesday 26-08-2025
The Union club is preparing to make a huge offer of 70 million euros to sign Porto's Portuguese player Rodrigo Mora, according to the website "Foot Mercato" citing sources close to the deal.

The sources indicated that negotiations between the two clubs have reached advanced stages, with Domingos Soares, the CEO of the Union, leading the discussions directly, despite objections from some board members and several team players.

Agent Jorge Mendes is pushing hard to finalize the deal, especially since he will receive a large commission if the young Portuguese player transfers from Porto to the Union during the current summer transfer window.

The Union's management is keen to resolve some issues before finalizing the contract, primarily the situation of Brazilian Fabinho, whom the management wishes to leave to make room for the new signing, while the player refuses to leave the club.

The Union hopes to conclude the deal quickly to strengthen the midfield in preparation for the new season, amid expectations that this move could be one of the most prominent signings in the Roshan League if officially completed.
