Union Targets Casemiro and Closes the File on Mora

Officials at Al-Ittihad Club have placed the option of signing Brazilian Casemiro, midfielder of Manchester United, on the table to strengthen the team during the ongoing summer transfer window.

According to press sources, the club's management is considering bringing in Casemiro instead of his compatriot Fabinho.

Reports indicated that the name of the Manchester United player was discussed last summer, but the management refused to enter into any negotiations at that time.

Sources confirmed that the position of Al-Ittihad's management has not changed much regarding contracts, as the club is looking for better options in terms of age and the ability to provide contributions for longer years.

The sources added that Al-Ittihad's management has closed the file on signing Brazilian Rodrigo Mora from Porto after financial negotiations between the two clubs stalled.

The sources clarified that discussions were positive in their early stages and a preliminary agreement was reached, but Porto's additional financial demands led to the halt of negotiations.

It was revealed that Al-Ittihad's management is moving towards parting ways with Hossam Aouar and Fabinho in order to sign a new midfielder in the current transfer market.
