Wydad Athletic Club concluded the summer transfer period of 2025 with strong and intensive movements in the final hours of the "mercato", reflecting the red administration's desire to restructure the team and renew its blood in preparation for a competitive local and continental season.

Wydad strengthened its squad with several prominent names in free transfers, most notably, Hamza El Hanouri (from Fath Rabat), Nour El Din Amrabat (from Hull City, England), Amin Abu Al-Fath (after an experience in Kuwait), Bart Meyers (from Banja Luka – Bosnia), Ferreira Guilherme (from Villegas – Portugal), Joseph Bakasso (from Manima – Congo), Stefan Aziz Ki (from Young Africans – Ivory Coast), Hamza Al-Wasiti (from Ittihad Tangier), Zouhair Al-Matarji (returning from Pharco in Egypt), and Ayman Atik (from Fath Sebata).

As for the paid transfers, they included quality elements, among them, Abdul Ghafour Lamirat (from Olympic Safi), Walid Al-Sabbar (from Nahdat Al-Zmamra), Thembinkosi Lorch (from Mamelodi Sundowns – South Africa), Mohamed Bouchouari (from Rodez – France), and Tomisang Orobony (from Al-Ittihad Libyan).
