Como President Denies Offers for Nico Paz
Swarso, the president of the Italian club Como, denied the news that the club rejected huge offers to acquire Argentine player Nico Paz during the current summer transfer window.
The club president stated in press remarks: "It is not true that we rejected offers for Paz, there were no offers, because no one makes an offer knowing that we have to inform Real Madrid first."
He added: "We were afraid of Nico returning to Real Madrid this summer, as he grew up there and dreams of playing at the Bernabeu one day, but fortunately he decided to stay with us."
Earlier reports claimed that Tottenham made an offer of 70 million euros to sign the player, but those reports were denied, as no official offer was received either from the player or the club.
Real Madrid currently holds the right to repurchase Nico Paz for 9 million euros in 2026, rising to 10 million euros in 2027, in addition to retaining 50% of any future sale value.
