Media personality Abdul Rahman Al-Humaidi reported that the Union's management has stopped its negotiations with Manchester United player Bruno Fernandes, despite having previously opened negotiations with financial support reaching 500 million riyals.

Al-Humaidi pointed out that the player's and his club's high financial demands prevented the deal from being finalized, prompting the management to retract from signing the Portuguese star before the summer transfer market closed.

The source clarified that the Union is currently focusing on searching for alternative options to strengthen the team's lineup, in an attempt to bolster the midfield and attack before the start of the new season in the Roshan Saudi League.

The club had previously shown significant financial readiness to convince Fernandes to join, but the gap between his demands and the Union's offer was a major obstacle that prevented reaching an agreement.

Consequently, the Union's management is inclined to study available players locally and internationally to ensure suitable deals that enhance the team's capabilities in upcoming competitions without exceeding financial limits.
