Media figure Khaled Talaat provoked Zamalek fans by asserting that Al-Ahly is better than Zamalek in everything.

Khaled Talaat stated on Facebook: "The debates that take place between an Al-Ahly supporter and a Zamalek supporter, whether they are journalists, media figures, or former players, are always won by the Al-Ahly side significantly."

He added: "This victory is not because the Al-Ahly supporter is strong, heavy, or smart, nor because the Zamalek supporter is weak, uninformed, or lacking in wit."

He continued: "This victory is due to the strength of Al-Ahly and its superiority over Zamalek in all matters, and this is clear to everyone and anyone who understands. Anyone who denies this does not understand that Al-Ahly is historically better, has more titles, is larger in popularity and fan base, is more stable and calm, has more members, has more branches, is financially stronger, has greater influence and authority, and is a larger and stronger entity and system. Al-Ahly's players are better, more committed, and represent the Egyptian national teams more throughout history, and Al-Ahly's management is more intelligent, skillful, dedicated, and calm than Zamalek's management."

He concluded: "Al-Ahly is better and stronger than Zamalek in everything, and that's why any Al-Ahly supporter who debates a Zamalek supporter excels because the arguments are known, memorized, clear, and have been repeated many times before and do not require skill or intelligence."

He wrapped up: "If we reversed the situation and let the Al-Ahly supporter support Zamalek and defend it, and let the Zamalek supporter support Al-Ahly and defend it, then you would find the Zamalek supporter excelling over the Al-Ahly supporter because he would benefit from the strength and superiority of Al-Ahly."
