
Rodrigo Tabata Begins a New Journey in Qatar
At the age of 44, former Qatari international player Rodrigo Tabata, of Brazilian origin, begins a new experience in Qatari football.
Al-Kharaitiyat Club announced today, Monday, the signing of Tabata, the attacking midfielder, for one season, coming from Al-Rayan.
Tabata had played for a number of Brazilian clubs before moving to the Turkish league, where he played for Gaziantep Spor and Beşiktaş.
He joined Al-Rayan and was part of the team for 9 seasons from "2011 to 2020," spending one season on loan at Al-Sadd.
In 2020, he moved to Al-Sadd permanently and played for 3 seasons, before playing for Al-Rayan for another two years, and now he has joined Al-Kharaitiyat.
