New Developments Regarding Egypt National Team Camp
The Egypt national team, led by coach Hossam Hassan, is entering a closed camp in preparation for matches against Ethiopia and Burkina Faso on September 5 and 9 in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The camp will start on September 1 in Cairo.
Media figure Amir Hossam revealed that Hossam Hassan has excluded Al Ahly duo Imam Ashour and Marwan Attia due to not being fully ready.
Hossam stated in television remarks: "The coaching staff has decided to include Mohamed Sobhi, the goalkeeper from Zamalek, in the upcoming camp, and to exclude Mohamed Awad for not participating with his team."
He added: "Trezeguet and Zizo are close to being included in the Egypt national team's upcoming camp, in preparation for the matches against Ethiopia and Burkina Faso in the World Cup qualifiers."
