El-Shenawy Joins the Second National Team in This Case
Media figure Jamal Al-Ghandour revealed from a responsible source within the Football Association that Helmy Tawlan, the coach of the second national team of Egypt, will include Ahmed El-Shenawy, the goalkeeper of Pyramids, in the second national team if he is not included in the first team.
The first national team of Egypt, led by Hossam Hassan, is set to hold a closed camp on September 1 in preparation for the matches against Ethiopia and Burkina Faso in the African qualifiers for the World Cup.
The source added in statements to the "Stadium Al-Muharrir" program: "Helmy Tawlan will include Ahmed El-Shenawy in the camp of the second national team next month, if he is not included in the camp of the first national team."
The source continued: "Tawlan is monitoring more than one goalkeeper, including Mohamed Abu Jabal and Mohamed Bassam, in preparation for the Arab Cup next December in Qatar."
