Sources have indicated to "Al-Riyadiyah" that Serbian goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic, the goalkeeper for Al-Ittihad, is expected to return to group training during the upcoming break after recovering from the injury that forced him to undergo surgery this summer.

Rajkovic is implementing a daily rehabilitation program alongside his teammates in preparation for a full return to the team, while still missing the match against Al-Akhidood in the first round of the Roshan Saudi League.

The goalkeeper is scheduled to participate in team training before facing Al-Fateh in the second round, which comes after the "FIFA Days" period, giving him the opportunity to gradually regain his fitness.

Rajkovic suffered a tear in the tendon near the rectus femoris of the right thigh last April, which kept him out for six rounds in the league, before undergoing surgery in Canada after the season ended, and he has since begun a rehabilitation program that is nearing completion.

French coach Laurent Blanc of Al-Ittihad is awaiting the goalkeeper's readiness before the Saudi Super Cup in Hong Kong, while Rajkovic prepares for his second season with the team after contributing to the "Tigers" winning the league title and the King’s Cup through 33 matches played with the team last season.
