Reports have revealed that Wydad Athletic Club has ended its relationship with player Ismail Matarji following a mutual agreement between the two parties, thus closing a new chapter in his history with the red team.


Sources indicate that Matarji has indeed received offers from clubs in the Moroccan league, in addition to proposals from Libyan and Gulf clubs, and he is expected to finalize his next destination during the upcoming week after a comprehensive review of all the options available to him.

The contract was terminated after Matarji waived a significant portion of his financial entitlements, which facilitated reaching a final agreement with the club's management.


It is noteworthy that Wydad had previously ended its relationship with player Abdelmounaim Boutouil after the latter waived nearly 75 million centimes of his overdue entitlements, resulting in his contract being mutually dissolved as well.
