Journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that the Saudi Union Club made an official offer to sign Porto's young player Rodrigo Mora, valued at 63 million euros plus 10% of the player's rights.

Romano mentioned on his official account on the X platform that Porto's management categorically rejected the offer, confirming that they would not agree to any amount less than the buyout clause in the player's contract, which is 70 million euros.

Thus, the Union is close to losing the opportunity to sign the 18-year-old Portuguese jewel, who is attracting interest from several major European clubs, due to a mere difference of 7 million euros.

This deal would have been one of the most significant reinforcements for the Saudi team this summer, amid its efforts to strengthen its squad with outstanding young players.
