Allegri Insists on Signing Vlahovic
Sunday 24-08-2025
Italian press reports confirmed that Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri renewed his request to the club's management to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic during a meeting held today, Sunday, with sporting director Igli Tare.

This comes after Milan withdrew from the deal to sign Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface due to the results of the medical tests the player underwent in Italy.

This situation leaves coach Allegri with only one option for the central striker position, which is Santiago Gimenez, with only one week remaining until the summer transfer window closes.

According to "Football Italy", Milan still has the upper hand in the race to sign the young striker Konrad Haderer, who is 20 years old, from Sporting Lisbon, while the club hopes to sign two strikers before the end of the market.

Despite several options being available, press reports confirmed that Vlahovic remains Allegri's first choice in attack.

Despite Milan's interest in the player throughout the transfer period, the deal has not been completed due to the player's high salary, as he earns 12 million euros in his final season with Juventus and is unwilling to give up his dues.

For its part, Milan does not intend to offer the same salary, which would make Vlahovic the highest-paid player in Serie A.

Reports indicate that Allegri reaffirmed his desire to sign the player during the meeting with Tare, adding that if the coach communicates directly with Vlahovic and makes a suitable offer, it will be difficult for the Serbian striker to refuse.
