Hassan said via Facebook: "Zamalek is awaiting an official letter from FIFA and the Football Association to register the Kenyan Aaron."
Zamalek is preparing to face its counterpart Farco next Tuesday as part of the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The match will kick off at 9 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
