The Saudi Al-Nassr team returned to the capital Riyadh on Sunday morning, coming from Hong Kong, after participating in the 2025 Saudi Super Cup, which the team concluded with a loss in the final against Al-Ahli in a penalty shootout.

The Portuguese head coach Jorge Jesus decided to give the players a complete rest from training today, with the team set to resume preparations tomorrow, Monday, as part of the preparations for the new season of the Roshen Saudi Professional League.

The official account of the club on the platform 'X' published photos of the arrival of the delegation, accompanied by a comment: 'Thank God we have arrived in Riyadh, we will return to training the day after tomorrow in preparation for the start of a new journey in the Roshen Professional League next Friday evening.'

Al-Nassr had lost the Saudi Super Cup title to Al-Ahli after an exciting match that ended in a 2-2 draw in regular time, before Al-Ahli secured victory in the penalty shootout with a score of 5-3 at Hong Kong International Stadium.

Al-Nassr is preparing to kick off its journey in the Roshen League with a strong match against Al-Taawoun next Friday at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Buraidah, at 9 PM local time.
