Tottenham Begins Contracting Process with Nico Paz
Sunday 24-08-2025
Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur has reopened discussions regarding the signing of Argentine Nico Paz during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Romano explained via his official account on the 'X' platform that Spurs management has held talks with intermediaries to discuss the deal, which appears complicated due to the high financial terms set by Como for the player's release.

The report indicated that Real Madrid will be involved in any potential agreement, as they hold the right to buy back the player for 8 million euros during the current summer, with the value increasing to 9 million in 2026 and 10 million in 2027, in addition to owning 50% of his future sale value.

Media reports have claimed that Como wants 70 million euros to part with the young Argentine star, noting that Tottenham had made an offer of 40 million euros which was rejected.

Real Madrid had planned to bring back Nico Paz this summer after his impressive performance with Como, but the club's signing of Franco Mastantuono has led to postponing his return until next summer.
