The President of the Iraqi Football Association, Adnan Darjal, stated that the season of the new Iraqi Stars League requires significant preparations to ensure the tournament is presented at a distinguished level, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between clubs and the association to create a suitable environment that allows teams to shine locally and continentally.

Darjal said in media statements: "We aim to develop the league and place it among the best leagues in the region, and this requires collective work from everyone, especially the clubs and their affiliated institutions, to ensure the regularity of financial entitlements for players and provide suitable conditions for training and competition."

He added: "A good league directly reflects on the level of national teams and gives players the opportunity to elevate their technical and physical levels, so clubs must work in coordination with the association to overcome all administrative and technical obstacles."

Darjal pointed to the necessity of taking care of the stadiums, saying: "We will discuss with the Ministry of Youth and Sports the rehabilitation and development of the stadiums that need it, to ensure the quality of matches and the safety of players."

He clarified that the Iraqi Association continues to adopt modern methods in organizing the league, including utilizing digital technologies and advanced statistics to ensure fairness and transparency in competition, while being keen to reduce fatigue resulting from travel between provinces.

He confirmed that the new season will witness doubled efforts to present a strong and developed league that is worthy of the status of Iraqi football at both local and continental levels.
