Al-Ahli Overcomes Al-Nassr and Wins the Saudi Super Cup Title

Al-Ahli's team has won the Saudi Super Cup title for the second time in its history, after defeating Al-Nassr in a penalty shootout with a score of 5-3, following a 2-2 draw in regular time, in a match held this evening in Hong Kong.

Al-Nassr opened the scoring through Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo with a penalty in the 41st minute, before Ivorian Frank Kessie managed to equalize for Al-Ahli in stoppage time of the first half (45+6).

In the second half, Al-Nassr took the lead again through Croatian Marcelo Brozović in the 82nd minute, but Al-Ahli refused to give up, as Rojer Ibanez scored the equalizer in the 88th minute, leading both teams directly to penalties.

In the decisive penalties, luck favored Al-Ahli, who secured the title with a score of 5-3, adding a new trophy to its cabinet and confirming its strong presence in local and international tournaments.
