The website "Football Italia" revealed that English club West Ham United is interested in signing Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini during the current summer transfer window.

West Ham thus joins the list of clubs that have expressed interest in acquiring the Italian player, although the English club has not yet made a formal offer, according to journalist "Gianluca Di Marzio".

This comes at a time when Pellegrini has lost the captaincy of the Roma team this season, with confirmation from coach Gian Piero Gasperini and the management that the player's contract, which ends in June 2026, will not be extended.

Pellegrini is expected to decide his future in the coming period, whether to stay with Roma until the end of his contract or leave this summer, noting that he is a graduate of the Roma academy and has scored 55 goals in 316 matches with the first team.
