Considering Al-Hilal as Losers Against Al-Qadsiah Due to Withdrawal from the Super Cup
Saturday 23-08-2025
The Appeals Committee of the Saudi Football Federation announced the penalties related to Al-Hilal's withdrawal from participating in the local Super Cup, which is hosted in Hong Kong.

It is noteworthy that Al-Hilal had communicated with the Football Federation, apologizing for not participating in the Super Cup due to player fatigue and the delay in their summer vacation after a long and exhausting season that ended with their exit from the FIFA Club World Cup in the quarter-finals.

The committee decided to annul the decision of the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee issued against Al-Hilal and ruled again that the first football team had committed a violation.

The committee obliged Al-Hilal to pay a financial fine of 500,000 riyals to the Saudi Football Federation, within a maximum period of 30 days starting from the date of notification of the decision.

Additionally, Al-Hilal was considered a loser against Al-Qadsiah in the Saudi Super Cup with a score of 3-0 in the match scheduled to take place on August 20.

It was decided to deprive the leader from participating in the first knockout competition that it is eligible for in the upcoming season.

The committee punished Al-Hilal by depriving it of any financial amounts allocated for the game level, in addition to confiscating the appeal fees, indicating that the decision is subject to appeal.
