Manchester City Falls to Tottenham in the Premier League
Manchester City lost to their counterpart Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the second round of the English Premier League, in a match held today, Saturday, at the Etihad Stadium.
Tottenham Hotspur took the lead in the 35th minute through Brennan Johnson after a cross from Richarlison, which Johnson converted into the net, with the goal confirmed by video technology.
In the 45+2 minute, Tottenham scored a second goal after a mistake from Trafford, the City goalkeeper, which was exploited by a Tottenham player, but the goalkeeper managed to clear it, only for Palhinha to follow up with a shot into the net.
Tottenham raised their points to 6, temporarily at the top, while Manchester City's points remained at 3, temporarily in fourth place.
