Martinez: We Can Win Against Al Ahly If We Unite
Spanish defender Inigo Martinez revealed that he is happy to play his first final with Al Nassr tomorrow against Al Ahly in the Super Cup final at Hong Kong International Stadium.
Martinez stated in remarks published by Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper: "I am happy to play with Al Nassr, and we will enjoy the final match tomorrow and return to Riyadh with the cup to celebrate with our fans."
He continued: "I am happy to play in a final with Al Nassr, and we are striving to achieve the title. We are ready to face Al Ahly, and we showed in the last match the spirit of brotherhood and strength despite playing with ten players against Al Ittihad. I thank the fans for their warm reception, and we have a whole season ahead of us to aspire to achieve titles."
The Spaniard added: "Our confidence is high, and finals are unpredictable. The opposing team is strong, and we know its capabilities, but we also have the potential. If we play united as we did against Al Ittihad, we will achieve victory."
He concluded his remarks by saying: "I joined the team in limited training and then participated in the match, but I have a lot of experience and adapted quickly. Step by step, we will present our best, and my extensive experience has helped me to adapt."
