Imam Ashour Misses Matches Due to Shoulder Injury
Imam Ashour, the midfielder of Al Ahly club, continues to miss participation with his team in the matches against Ghazl El Mahalla and Pyramids in the fourth and fifth rounds of the Egyptian Premier League this month due to injury.
According to press sources, the chances of Imam Ashour joining the matches against Ghazl El Mahalla and Pyramids are extremely low after scans confirmed that the fracture in his collarbone has not healed 100%.
The sources indicated that Ribeiro, the team's coach, refuses to risk Imam's participation in the matches until he fully recovers, fearing any setback in the area of his injury.
Imam Ashour sustained a fracture in the collarbone during the match between Al Ahly and Inter Miami in June last year in the first round of the first group of the Club World Cup.
