Mitrovic Rejects Al-Hilal Offer and Approaches Departure to Qatari League
Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, of Saudi Al-Hilal, has started to seriously consider leaving the team after receiving an official offer from one of the clubs in the Qatari league during the final days of the summer transfer window.
Reports have revealed that Al-Hilal's management requested Mitrovic to stay with the team, limiting his participation to the AFC Champions League, but the player firmly rejected this proposal.
The Serbian striker's stance comes after Al-Hilal strengthened its squad by signing Uruguayan Darwin Nunez to lead the attack, which has cast significant doubts on Mitrovic's future this summer.
According to the program "Dourina Ghair", Mitrovic is seriously considering the Qatari offer, especially with his desire to continue participating regularly, rather than just appearing in one continental tournament with Al-Hilal.
It is worth noting that the 30-year-old Mitrovic joined Al-Hilal in the summer of 2023 from Fulham in England on a contract until June 2026, and he has played 79 matches with the team, scoring 68 goals and providing 15 assists.
