Media figure Ahmed Shobir revealed the latest updates on the construction of the new Al Ahly stadium.
Shobir stated in radio remarks on "On Sport FM": "Regarding the new Al Ahly stadium, the excavation has reached a depth of 10 meters, but they faced challenges due to concrete soil, so they started addressing the issue to determine the final depth."
He added: "Al Ahly is working hard despite the obstacles faced in Sheikh Zayed, even President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has supported this project, confirming that sports will develop the area."
On another note, the Red Giant is preparing to face Ghazl El Mahalla in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League next Monday.
