The chances of Imam Ashour, the midfielder of Al Ahly Club, joining the Egypt national team camp during the upcoming international break in September for the matches against Ethiopia and Burkina Faso have diminished.

Sources have confirmed that Al Ahly and the coaching staff of the Egypt national team, led by Hossam Hassan, through the head of the medical staff, Dr. Mohamed Abu Al-Ala, have indicated the difficulty of Imam Ashour joining the Pharaohs camp, which starts on September 1.

The Al Ahly doctor spoke with Abu Al-Ala and conveyed the opinion of the team's coach, Ribeiro, regarding the timing of Imam Ashour's participation in matches, emphasizing that he refuses to rush the player due to his incomplete recovery from the injury so far.

For his part, the Al Ahly doctor assured the national team's doctor that Imam would be ready to be with Egypt if he recovers and participates actively in the matches.
