Liverpool star Mohamed Salah expressed his gratitude after winning the Premier League Player of the Year award from the Professional Footballers' Association on Tuesday, following his remarkable performance last season.

Salah wrote on his X platform account: "This honor is special, especially when it is associated with our winning an important title. The most important thing is always to be champions, and we will fight to repeat that this season. I am very grateful to my teammates who voted for me."

Salah continues to solidify his status as one of the premier stars of the Premier League, maintaining his brilliance and record-breaking numbers since joining Liverpool in 2017.

Mohamed Salah also won the Golden Boot as the top scorer in the Premier League last season, with a total of 29 goals.
