The Spanish newspaper "Marca" reported that with Jude Bellingham's absence, Xabi Alonso gave the opportunity to player Ibrahim Diaz, who took advantage of it to confirm his desire to be an essential part of the new Real Madrid project.

The newspaper added that Rodrigo, who did not play a single minute, was neither the first nor the second choice in the substitutions, as he was preceded by both Franco Mastantuono and Gonzalo Garcia, even though the Argentine star had just joined Real Madrid's training.

According to the report, these circumstances leave the door wide open for Rodrigo to leave before the transfer market closes at the end of this month, especially in light of the gradual decline of his role within the team.
