Media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour has delivered good news to Al-Ahly fans via Facebook.
Al-Ghandour said: "The treasury of Al-Ahly Club is boosted with the first installment from the sale of Wissam Abu Ali."
Wissam Abu Ali, the former Al-Ahly star, has moved to Columbus Crew in the USA in a deal valued at 8.5 million euros, including bonuses.
On another note, Al-Ahly is preparing to face Ghazl El Mahalla next Monday in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
