The Police Club announced the completion of the signing of striker Salem Ahmed, who has officially joined the team's ranks in preparation for the new season 2025 – 2026.

The club published a statement through its official accounts stating: "From Basra Al-Sayyab to the Lyre of the homeland.. Salem Ahmed plays in the ranks of the Police."

Salem Ahmed is 25 years old and has previously played for Al-Minaa Club, where he gained limited experience at the local level during his previous appearances.

The player seeks to gradually integrate into the Police ranks and participate in group training as part of the team's preparations for the upcoming season.

This signing is part of the Police Club's efforts to strengthen the team in preparation for local competitions in the Iraqi Stars League, in addition to its anticipated participation in the Asian Champions League for elites, as the club's management focuses on providing additional options in the attacking line to support the team's formation during the new season.
