Imam Ashour Comments on His Return to Team Training
Imam Ashour, the star of Al Ahly, commented on his return to participate in group training after recovering from injury.
Imam Ashour had suffered a shoulder injury during his team's match against Inter Miami in the Club World Cup.
Imam Ashour said via Instagram: "After about 64 days of absence due to injury, today was my first full group training with the team. It was a tough period and a big challenge for me, both physically and mentally, but thank God for everything. I’m happy to be back, and hopefully, what’s coming will be better."
The Red Giant is preparing to face Ghazl El Mahalla next Monday in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
