Barcelona's coach Hans Flick has outlined his specific plan to retain the La Liga title this season, after winning it last season following a fierce competition with Real Madrid.

According to the Catalan newspaper "Sport", Flick aims to start the La Liga campaign strongly by imposing a high tempo that gives the team an advantage over its rivals.

The source added that the German coach is focusing on accumulating as many points as possible in the early rounds to create a safe gap ahead of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, and to avoid any early setbacks that could complicate the team's journey.

The newspaper noted that Flick is aware of the dangers that occurred last season during the "Black November", when Barcelona earned only 5 points out of 21, which threatened the dream of winning the title. Therefore, he considers that repeating such a scenario would be devastating this season.

According to his estimates, Flick believes that the title race may require surpassing the 90-point mark, which makes him consider that the race has already begun since the first round.
