Officially: Atalanta Announces Signing of Nicola Zalewski
Atalanta Club officially announced the signing of Polish-Italian player Nicola Zalewski from Inter Milan, in a permanent transfer deal.
Although the club did not disclose the duration of the contract or the value of the deal, some reports indicated that Zalewski joined Atalanta on a contract that extends until 2030 for a fee of 16 million euros.
Zalewski, who is 23 years old, plays as a winger in midfield and holds both Italian and Polish nationalities. He has extensive experience despite his young age.
He has played 95 matches in Serie A, 26 matches in the UEFA Europa League, and 7 matches in the UEFA Conference League, which he won with Roma in 2022, in addition to participating in the UEFA Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup, and the 2022 World Cup and Euro 2024 with the Polish national team.
Zalewski chose to represent the Polish national team and has appeared in 29 international matches, scoring 3 goals.
