The Senegalese goalkeeper Edward Mendy of Al-Ahli club commented on his team's upcoming match against Al-Qadisiyah in the Saudi Super Cup, which is hosted in Hong Kong.

Al-Ahli will face Al-Qadisiyah in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup next Wednesday.

Mendy stated in the pre-match press conference that facing Al-Qadisiyah was not anticipated before arriving in Hong Kong for the Saudi Super Cup.

He added that the match was not planned, but since Al-Ahli has been invited to participate, they will make a strong presence and compete for the title.
