Learn about the start date of the external student camp
The management of the Student Sports Club announced its intention to hold an external camp at the beginning of next September, as part of the second phase of the preparation program for the new football season 2025-2026, which aims to enhance the physical, technical, and mental readiness of the players, in addition to playing trial matches that reveal the team's readiness and identify strengths and weaknesses before the official competitions begin.
A source within the club's management revealed that the administration presented coach Talal Al-Balushi with two options for the camp, between Turkey and Egypt, to ensure the optimal completion of the training phase requirements, which starts with increasing physical capacity and developing individual skills, then moving to tactical and strategic aspects, ensuring comprehensive readiness for players on various levels.
The source confirmed that the coach's interest is not limited to the location of the camp as much as it is focused on the quality of the trial matches that will be held, as he seeks to provide strong competitions that reveal the players' performance characteristics and give him the opportunity to test his tactical methods and diagnose any gaps in the adopted plans, in addition to evaluating the physical and mental effort of the players through the latest technologies such as GPS chips and heat maps, which provide accurate indicators of each player's commitment to their duties on the field.
The source pointed out that Al-Balushi places great importance on completing the team's roster before the start of the camp, after the arrival of all professionals and new players who have been contracted, in preparation for the upcoming season, among whom are the Algerian Karim Arabi, the Ecuadorian Dario Fabian, in addition to the Iraqi defender Masis Artin, and local newcomers such as Saif Rashid, Adel Ni'ma, Ali Saad, Mustafa Ma'n, Ali Kazem, and Ali Haidar, to complete the team's elements and provide diverse options for the coach in various lines.
The external camp comes as a key step within the club's plan aimed at raising the technical and physical level of the team before the start of the season, to ensure competitiveness in the league and cup, and to enhance the ability to face competing teams in all local tournaments, with a focus on developing harmony between old and new players, and applying Coach Al-Balushi's strategies that rely on team play and tactical flexibility.
Through this camp, the club hopes to achieve the required harmony among all team elements and give players the opportunity to practically apply tactical training in strong friendly matches, allowing the coach to fully evaluate performance and determine development priorities before the season begins, making the team more prepared for the new season's competitions and enhancing its chances of competing for titles.
