Bologna Targets Wesley to Replace Ndoyia
Saturday 16-08-2025
The Italian club Bologna is focusing on Brazilian Wesley Gasuofa, a player from Al-Nassr, to compensate for the left flank after the departure of Swiss player Dan Ndoyia, amidst competition with two other names for the same position.

A report from 'Corriere dello Sport' indicated that Wesley, born in 2005, excels in dribbling and breaking defensive lines, making him the ideal choice for Bologna to replace Ndoyia, despite being under contract with Al-Nassr.

Al-Nassr has set the player's price at around 18 million euros, while his annual salary is 4 million euros, complicating the financial agreement and requiring either the player's approval or intervention from the Saudi club to facilitate the deal.

Competing for the wing position are Spanish player Bryan Gil from Tottenham, currently on loan to Girona, and English player Jonathan Rowe from Marseille. Gil is known for his technical skills and left foot, while Rowe compensates with his physical strength and high speed.

Bologna is also planning to sign young talents in midfield, notably Albanian Cristian Asllani from Inter Milan, considering the club's financial capabilities, as the final decisions on transfers remain more tied to numbers than to on-field performance.
