Italian media reports have revealed that West Ham United is interested in signing Macedonian midfielder Elif Elmas, star of German club Leipzig, amid competition from Napoli and Torino.

According to the website "Football Italia", West Ham has made an official inquiry to Leipzig's management regarding the possibility of signing Elmas and is preparing to make a suitable financial offer to persuade the German club to agree to sell him.

Meanwhile, Napoli is still closely monitoring the situation, waiting to enter negotiations during the final stages of the transfer market, while Torino has also been mentioned among the interested clubs, making the competition for the player open.

For his part, Elmas recently rejected an attractive offer from Turkish club Besiktas worth 5 million euros annually, preferring to stay in the Bundesliga or take on a new experience in the Premier League, which enhances West Ham's chances of securing the deal in the near future.
