Al-Qadisiyah Loses Duo Before Facing Al-Ahli in Saudi Super Cup
Spanish coach Michel Gonzalez has excluded local duo Mohammed Qassem and Abdulrahman Al-Dosari from the team list heading to Hong Kong for the Saudi Super Cup this month.
According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah", Mohammed Qassem has been training individually at the club's headquarters, based on the coaching staff's instructions, following his exclusion for purely technical reasons.
Midfielder Abdulrahman Al-Dosari has also been ruled out of Gonzalez's plans for the Super Cup, as he is close to transferring to Al-Khulood during the current summer transfer period, after a preliminary agreement between the two parties.
Al-Qadisiyah will face Al-Ahli in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup, scheduled to take place on August 20 in Hong Kong, as the first match of the tournament.
The winner of this match will qualify for the anticipated final on August 23, to face the winner of the other match between Al-Ittihad and Al-Nasr.
