Manchester United Withdraws from Baleba Deal
Friday 15-08-2025
Reliable journalist David Ornstein reported that Manchester United does not plan to proceed with the signing of Ivorian midfielder Carlos Baleba, the Brighton star, during the current summer transfer window.

According to the source, there have been direct and indirect communications between the two clubs, but Brighton's management has made it clear that the player is not for sale, and the financial value required to complete the deal is considered excessively high from United's perspective.

Baleba is 21 years old and has shown interest in moving to Manchester United, but he is also happy at Brighton and does not mind continuing for another season with the team.

Brighton wants more than 100 million euros to part with Baleba, while Manchester United has decided to look for other options to strengthen its midfield this summer.
