Officials of Al-Hilal Club are making serious attempts to persuade Fahd Al-Mufrej to return to administrative work at the club, following the election of Prince Nawaf bin Saad as the new president of the club after being endorsed by the General Assembly.

The newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat" confirmed that Al-Mufrej has not yet made his final decision, but he is seriously considering the desire of Al-Hilal's management to bring him back, amid strong insistence from officials on his extensive experience in administrative work.

Al-Mufrej's journey with Al-Hilal extends for many years, during which he held prominent positions after retiring from playing, most notably as the Director of Football, before assuming the position of Executive Director during Fahd bin Nafel's presidency.

Al-Mufrej had announced his resignation from his position after 13 consecutive years in administrative work and distanced himself from the team delegation that is holding a training camp in Germany in preparation for the new season.

The new management hopes that Al-Mufrej will agree to return, as he represents a value and experience capable of supporting the team administratively in the upcoming phase, especially with Al-Hilal's ambitions to continue achieving championships.
