Media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour, a former star of Zamalek, revealed that Jose Ribeiro, the coach of Al-Ahly, is not convinced by the performance of the foreign players in the red team.

Al-Ghandour said via "On Sport FM": "Ribeiro is not convinced by the Malian player Alio Diang, in addition to some foreign players in the team."

He added: "In the last match against Modern Sport, Ribeiro left 4 foreign players on the bench, namely Diang, Ashraf Ben Sharqi, Gradychar, and Ashraf Dari, and this is evidence of his lack of confidence in their technical level."

He continued: "For the first time, Al-Ahly has left 4 foreigners on the bench; Al-Ahly used to play with 6 foreigners out of 11 when Wessam Abou Ali was present."

He went on: "The presence of foreign players on the bench of Al-Ahly is unacceptable, especially since they earn salaries in the millions of dollars."
