Chelsea Prepares to Sell Nkunku Amid Bayern Munich Interest
Thursday 14-08-2025
Chelsea is nearing a decision regarding the future of their French player Christopher Nkunku, amid increasing interest from several European clubs, most notably Bayern Munich, as the end of the summer transfer market in 2025 approaches.

According to media reports, Nkunku is one of six players who may leave Stamford Bridge this summer, as part of the management's plan to reduce the number of players in the team.

Nkunku is receiving significant interest from Bayern Munich, which is considering signing him as a potential replacement for star Kingsley Coman in case he departs, noting that Chelsea is not open to loaning him out but is only demanding a permanent sale.

Despite the French star's good performance in the Club World Cup, he has not managed to secure his position at Chelsea, having played 61 matches across all competitions and scored only 18 goals, which is a lower rate than expected compared to his previous stint at Leipzig.

With young names like Joao Pedro and Jamie Gatlin, along with the possibility of signing Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho, it seems that Nkunku will fall down the coach's options, making his chances of participation in the upcoming season more difficult.

Reports indicate that Chelsea is ready to sell Nkunku for 50 million euros, with interest from clubs like Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Leipzig, as well as interest from Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest.

Bayern Munich continues to monitor the situation of the French star, especially after the failed deal for Stuttgart striker Nikolas Volland.
