Reports from the Spanish newspaper "Sport" have confirmed that young defender Hector Fort is close to making his final decision about his future with FC Barcelona, following his return from the Asian tour and his attendance at the opening match of the Spanish league against Mallorca.

According to the reports, Fort has several offers from clubs in La Liga and abroad, most notably from newly promoted French club Paris, which has shown interest in signing him through direct contact with Barcelona's management.

Sources indicate that Barcelona wishes to continue monitoring the player's development and prefers to make deals either through a simple loan or a sale while retaining a percentage of the player's rights and a buy-back option, in order to maintain the club's investment in young talents.

Recently, Fort's chances in the first team have diminished following the arrival of coach Hans Flick, who preferred to rely on the duo Koundé and Eric Garcia in the fullback position, prompting the player to seek new opportunities that guarantee him continuous participation.
