A Crisis Facing Al-Nassr in Closing the Koman Deal

Wednesday 13-08-2025
Al-Nassr is facing challenges in finalizing the transfer of French winger Kingsley Koman from Bayern Munich during the current summer transfer window, despite a preliminary agreement between the two clubs for a deal worth 30 million euros.

Saudi journalist Abdulaziz Al-Asimi clarified via his account on "X" that the deal is still stalled due to some intricate details that have yet to be resolved, hindering the signing of the final contracts between the parties.

He added that Al-Nassr is working to resolve these details quickly to ensure the completion of the deal before the transfer market closes, especially since Koman is under contract with Bayern Munich until 2027 and needs to coordinate officially with the German club's management.

Reports indicated that the player has expressed a desire to join Al-Nassr to team up with his Portuguese teammates Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Felix in the attack, making the deal appealing to the yellow club.

Al-Nassr continues to strengthen its squad after securing four summer signings so far, including defender Nader Al-Sharari, midfielder Abdulmalik Al-Jaber, Spanish defender Inigo Martinez from Barcelona, and Portuguese forward Joao Felix from Chelsea, in preparation for the new season.
