Islam Gamal Denies Provoking Al Ahly Fans
Islam Gamal, the former Zamalek player, denied that he intentionally provoked Al Ahly fans during his time at the clubs he played for.
He stated on the "Classico" program on ON channel: "I never intended to provoke Al Ahly or its fans, but I do not like losing."
He added: "I celebrated with the arrow in the match between Al Ahly and Tala'ea El Gaish when I scored a penalty, and it was a decisive match because if Zamalek won their next match, they would be crowned champions."
He continued: "Al Ahly won in the last moments as usual, but other than that, I did not mean to provoke Al Ahly or its fans."
